Help Robert Get a New Truck After Storm

Hi friends,

Help us raise funds for a new truck for Robert Keeney - an elder environmentalist and dedicated community member. His family’s property on the Eastside was battered by the bomb cyclone on November 19th, during which multiple huge evergreen trees uprooted and crushed Robert’s beloved truck. Robert uses his truck for transport, but importantly also as his home.

Luckily, everyone on the property was unharmed during the storm. However, they now face a major economic burden from the damage to their land. The fallen trees destroyed several cars and structures, including their water pump. The land has been a haven to the Keeney’s ever since Robert’s father built the house on it in the 1950s.

If you know Robert from volunteer events, you know he’s the first to show up and the last to leave. He’s been an advocate for the Earth for decades, lending his talents to volunteer trail work throughout the PNW, and food justice with Community Alliance for Global Justice.
