Help Robert Milby Battle Pancreatic Cancer

Hello, I am Robert Milby age 54 of New York.

My cancer journey began in April of this year when I began experiencing symptoms of jaundice. A visit to an urgent care led to the discovery of a mass blocking the common bile duct in my pancreas. As a non-smoker, who doesn't consume alcohol, and runs 4-5 times a week, I was devastated. The next step was a 2-week hospital stay, which included the placement of a stent, 5 sessions of dialysis, many MRI and CT scans, and a liver biopsy.

Hearing the diagnosis of stage IV pancreatic cancer with metastasis to the liver from my hospital bed was surreal.

I am currently in the middle of a grueling chemotherapy treatment, which leaves me weak and unable to do a lot physically.

Weekly blood tests and panels have shown some improvement. The goal now is shrinking the pancreatic and liver tumors so that I may become eligible for the Whipple procedure for the pancreas and liver resection surgery.

Donations to my fundraiser will be used for mounting medical expenses as I am unable to earn any income in my current situation.
