Help Robert Webb Rebuild His Life
On the 13th November 2020 Robert, a beloved family man and acclaimed Film Production Designer, suffered a tragic and life changing accident. After falling from a horse he sustained a serious spinal cord injury fracturing his C6 vertebrae. Robert is now paralyzed from his chest down, unable to walk again and with no use of his fingers.
Once Robert’s stay at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre is complete he will continue to need an enormous amount of specialized medical treatment, mobility equipment, rehabilitation, and most concerningly an ongoing high level of daily care and support.
The waiting list for any potential Government support and inadequate cover means the financial burden on Robert and his family is huge and of great concern to him.
We ask for your help in order to give Robert the best future possible and the independence to lead a full life. Any and all donations would be hugely appreciated. We know Robert is a proud man and would never ask anyone for help- so we are asking on his behalf. Thank you!
A bit about who is organizing the fundraiser:
For those who don’t know me my name is Yurana Rutteman. I am the eldest daughter of Robert and Barbara’s 4 children. I am doing this fundraiser on behalf of my Dad, but with the invaluable help of my sisters (Melody and Verity) and my bro (Hamish)
I live in Highgate, Adelaide.
With the funds we raise we will pay for the hone modifications necessary for Dad to return home and live comfortably. We are currently building a new disabled access bathroom for Dad at his house. We also have plans for a new wheelchair accessible path in the front garden and contribute funds to Dad’s ongoing care (carers coming to his home helping him in the morning and evening) once he has returned home.
Thank you all so very much x
