Help Roberto and his Family Survive

Manny, Roberto, and Julio have been the Villa del Palmar Loreto pool guys ever since the resort opened in 2011. If you have ever visited the resort you know them. Always super friendly, hard-working, and fun to be around.

Roberto has a loving wife and three adorable young boys. He is a very devoted family man and supports his family with his work at the resort.

Last year, Roberto contracted Guillain-Barre syndrome from a Covid exposure in Cabo. If you don't know what that is here is a link at the Mayo Clinic. It is very serious and fatal in some cases.

Roberto was partially paralyzed, face and legs, and hospitalized in Cabo for two weeks. He was then transported to Loreto to begin rehabilitation. The doctors think it will take at least a year for Roberto to fully recover. And all this time he has not been able to work and has exhausted his savings.

Roberto and his family really need our help. We go to Loreto every year and we're hoping to see Roberto there next year so please donate whatever you can. Even a little $US goes a long way in Mexico.

Since GoFundMe does not operate in Mexico, funds must be deposited into a bank in the States (USAA), then transferred to Roberto's Mexican bank account. The transfer will be done using PayPal.
