Dear Friends,

We are reaching out on behalf of our cherished friend, Rocco Ancarola. Many of you know firsthand how Rocco has been a steadfast friend, mentor, and a brother to us. His selfless nature has always shone through, especially when anyone of us needed support. As some of you may know, Rocco is now fighting for his life with cancer.

Having moved from South Africa to New York, Rocco found a new family among us, his friends here. His current circumstances compel us to rally around him, providing the support he needs during this challenging phase of his life.

Each one of us has heartwarming stories about Rocco—his welcoming embrace during the holidays, the spontaneous and elaborate parties he orchestrates, filled with laughter, music, and a sense of togetherness that's hard to find elsewhere. If you've had the joy of attending one of Rocco's famed gatherings, you know how he goes above and beyond to create a festive atmosphere where everyone feels part of a larger family. His unwavering friendship extends not only to us but to our circle of friends, making every gathering a memorable celebration. His innate ability to make everyone feel welcomed and cherished is something that has touched us all deeply. Our lives have been enriched with laughter and love, thanks to Rocco's ever-present warmth and loyalty.

Rocco is an epitome of kindness and his benevolence, not just towards his friends but also towards strangers, is truly inspiring. His infectious smile has a way of brightening our days, never letting the challenges he faces dull his spirits.

Now, it's our turn to reciprocate the love and support to Rocco during the upcoming challenging days and months. The goal is to ensure that Rocco has the financial resources required to cover all medical necessities. We are all aware of the high costs associated with healthcare and the limited coverage provided by insurance companies; it's imperative that financial constraints are the last thing Rocco needs to worry about while focusing on his recovery.
