Help Rochelle's Children with Funeral and Living Costs
Hello everyone, thank you for viewing my GoFundMe for our dearest Rochelle Davis. Rochelle was 64 years old at the time of her passing. She was survived by her 3 children. Ryan Davis, 41, was her first born son. Then came Trey Davis, 35, her second born son. Abigail Davis, 31, is my bestfriend. She is Rochelles last born child.
Rochelle, was a pharmacist for over 30 years before she decided to retire and take care of her Autistic son, Trey, full time. Rochelle, and Trey and Abby have all lived in Gladstone for many, many years. Rochelle and Abigail have been stand up community members for a long time. Helping out in anyway they can. Moving services, food, gifts, rides, etc. The list goes on.
Rochelle, has for as long as I've known her always been the type of person who would give ANYONE the shirt off her back. If someone needed a warm meal, she was there, if she was passing a homeless on the street, she'd be the one to roll down her window and give them 5 bucks or food to eat. She took in her kids' friends as if we were her own. There has been many times, during my difficult times Rochelle has offered me a place to stay, money, & food to eat. The compassion this woman had for others is something that you don't see much of, anymore. She was truly out here doing God's work.
The night of the accident Rochelle had been on her way home, from taking her daughter Abigail Davis, to the hospital in Beaverton, so she could have a sleep study done. However, because Rochelle has been having her own health issues lately. She chose to drive home, rather than stay at the hospital, but had informed her daughter, she would be back at 7a.m. to pick her up. Unfortunately, that would no longer be the case.
Rochelle crashed her car that night on I-5. She was approximately 2 miles away from home. We still don't have all the details of the crash as it is being further investigated to determine what exactly happened. We do know however that her car had flipped during the crash, she had a pulse upon 1st responders arrival, but by the time she was extracted from the vehicle, she was pronounced deceased.
We were informed that there was a car that had pulled over to the scene of the accident, to sit with Rochelle, while waiting for 1st responders to arrive. We are currently looking for the driver, said to be a man. If anyone has any information, please reach out to me, as the family is not taking calls or text messages at the moment.
Rochelle will be cremated. Those were her wishes. The funds raised from this GoFundMe will go to the costs of that, and display vases for each of her children, and bills to maintain Rochelles house that her son still lives in and a service for rochelles family and friends to attend.
Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated during this time. & all prayers are welcomed.
Thank you for taking the time to read. & take care.
