Help Rochelle's Family Navigate Their Loss
Donation protected
*Updated 7/24 with ceremony details
My mother, Rochelle Groth, was a person you'd never forget. She was intelligent, optimistic, & kind, and her exuberant laugh lit up the room (and often the room adjacent.) She was quick to help others, and growing up was often a "mother hen" to my sisters' and my friends who had less than stellar home lives.
Her passion was education, in which she held a master's degree. If you had a favorite teacher who inspired you creatively, compassionately, scientifically, or personally, you understand the kind of teacher my mom was and the kind of value she brought to the world.
Rochelle passed unexpectedly last month, four months before she planned to retire. Aligning with her pragmatic outlook, she was an organ donor, and in her final moments passed on a healthy liver to a matching recipient.
My father is disabled and unable to work, so my sisters and I are working together to help him get through this devastating loss. If you are interested in donating, you have our gratitude.
