Help Rodney Fight Throat Cancer

Last month, my dad discovered that he has a tumor in his left tonsil. It tested positive for cancer and has affected a couple lymph nodes. The good news is, it’s localized and the doctors expect a full recovery after (hopefully) weeks of chemo and radiation. The bad news is, as a small business owner, my dad doesn’t have insurance.

If you don’t know my dad, Rodney Klein is the co-owner of Avalon Vintage in Los Angeles, a wonderful father, a generous friend, and one of the most passionate and kind people I’ve ever known. My family and I want to take this opportunity to give something back, after years of always being able to rely on him for help, advice and love. He’s touched the lives of so many, and I’ve grown up regarding those close to him as family.

 We’re aiming to raise $5000 towards his bills, which will include costs of transportation and help at Avalon during treatment and while he’s recovering. If you’re unable to help financially, sharing this page with others would also be an enormous help.
