Rodney Derrickson was wrongfully imprisoned for 30 years and has finally been granted release, with the help of a group of dedicated students and supporters who believed in him. After spending the last 30 years furthering his education, fighting for his freedom, developing skills, mentoring others, and supporting vulnerable communities in Pennsylvania, he will be entering a different world than the one he was taken from as a child. To that end, he has also created the Mentoring Youth Tour, where he will visit schools and recreational centers to encourage youth to pursue education and to avoid crime, violence, and prison.
