Help Rodney A. Brown Secure Stable Housing

Dear Artists and Art Lovers ,

Please join us in supporting a talented Black artist from NY who is in need of immediate funds for safe, secure housing while  performing at our gallery from March 13 - April 4, 2021.

Rodney A. Brown is an artist whose work draws on he(r) experiences with AIDS, mental illness, and homelessness. 

Rodney’s performative work involves choreopoems which is poetry you can dance to.

Rodney needs to find secure, stable housing in order to perform this incredible work within the city of New Orleans at The Front gallery.

We are looking to raise approximately $3,500.00 by March 14th, 2021.

$2000.00 from this fundraiser  immediately will go towards booking a safe AirBnB from March 15th - April 5th 2021. Preferrably in a neighborhood close by The Front gallery (Bywater). 

The remaining $1,500 will go towards Rodney's pressing needs and expenses.
