Help Roisin continue her education

Hello, my name is Siobhan, and I am organizing this on behalf of my sister Roisin, who is a first-year law student. She is an amazing, dedicated individual who worked very hard during college to make herself a competitive candidate. She was a three-time elected class representative campaigning for student safety, a top-performing debate team member who served as both Vice President and President for the team, and interned at a prestigious local law firm where she gained a lot of insight and experience with her future profession. In addition to her academic performance placing her on the Dean’s List, Roisin also was awarded a membership to the Pi Sigma Alpha honor society.

Her academic performance earned her a spot on the honor roll every semester and a four-year academic merit scholarship, and she was awarded an additional scholarship for involvement with the collegiate debate team. She also worked two part time jobs during the school year and over the summer to help finance her education. Her hope was that her hard work would be rewarded with a scholarship to help mitigate the costs of law school; unfortunately, that opportunity was not available.

Roisin turned to student loans and private loans to fund her education; however, she was not able to secure the funds necessary to pay for the balance owed for law school and has exhausted all other options for additional funding. As such, she is trying to raise $29,000 in order to complete her first year.

While she plans to work during the summer to offset the cost of school, she cannot wait that long to receive funds. Without your support, she is not sure if she will be able to achieve her dream of becoming an attorney. She is a wonderful person and with your support hopes to have a career where she advocates for people.
