Help Roman Mykytiuk get insuline pump

Hello, I have a cousin from Ukraine called Roman Mykytiuk, he is 11 yo and he has diabetes. Together with his mother Liliia Mykytiuk they fled war to Poland (Opole) and left their father back in Ukraine. After all the stress they’ve been through during the first week of war his condition has heavily deteriorated and his spikes and drops in sugar levels have become more frequent and more violent. Every time his mother does not track this at the right time and inject him the insuline, he would either faint or fall in a heavy condition.

One of effective solutions is buying an insuline pump that would not require measuring sugar level and injecting insuline manually, but would track his condition in real time and then automatically make injections whenever it is necessary during day and night. We’ve analysed the market and it looks like Medtronic Minimed 640G insuline pump is one of the best and its manufacturer is also located in Belgium (NV Medtronic Belgium SA). The problem is that it costs around €3000 and at this moment this amount is insurmountable for Roman’s parents since his father is an entrepreneur and lost his job since the start of war, while his mother cannot take up any job in Poland for now as she’s there all the time to monitor his condition. They hoped that Polish authorities would help with some medical program for refugees but unfortunately it’s not the case and they are paying for all the medications and medical services from their own pocket.

I would be very grateful if we tried to collect money and buy that device that would totally change his life.
