Help a Romanian Police officer !
Donation protected
Helen is a Romanian Police officer whom I met ten years ago at the police school.
She was my classmate, one of my 7 roommates during the 2 year police training and a good friend.
She desired so much to become a police officer and I would never forget her hunger to learn, that always woke me up at 3 or 4 o'clock in the morning because she had to read and prepare for the next days classes.
Helen is one of the strongest and most ambitious woman I know. No matter how cold the weather, or how tired she was, she was constantly training to run the marathon.
And she was always a winner!
She brought national and international recognition to our small police school as she proudly heard our national anthem played for her as she stood on the winners platform.
I am so proud of her and her strength to always push herself to her limits.
Helen has a big heart and a big smile and she is an honest, well trained and hard working police officer.
She loves her job, she is always fighting for justice and she is an idol for all the children from the town she works in.
She is also a caring mother of a 1 year old beautiful baby and a wife that loves her family.
Life is sometimes cruel and unfair.
Helen discovered recently that she has a malignant brain tumor, called anaplastic oligodendroglioma and she was diagnosed with brain cancer.
If only I would have the power to cure her... But life is not fair again...
While I am sitting here on the other side of the world reading online about people who were cured and had their life back after being diagnosed with brain cancer, she is sitting there, in a less developed country that gives her no hopes, Romania.
As beautiful and impressive Romania is, its medical healthcare system is very poor and backwards.
But there is hope in a developed country.
People like her can resume their normal lives after treatment!
For this reason, I am seaking your assistance to help my colleague obtain medical attention outside Romania.
Any financial or other assistance you can provide, would help immensely!
Keen running, Helen!
