Help Ron and Debi Bair Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Sadly, there are many of us that have been touched by cancer in one way or another. In August, cancer hit home for Ron and Debi Bair as Ron was diagnosed with cancer. Ron underwent 4 rounds of chemotherapy hoping to shrink the tumor. He was scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor on December 9th.
Ron developed complications from the chemo. On the evening of December 1st, Ron was being transported by an emergency squad to a local hospital because of these complications. On the way to the hospital, the ambulance lost control on a snow covered road and rolled several times before coming to a stop upside down in a field. Ron had to be air lifted to OSU hospital where he had emergency surgery for a lacerated intestine. He then had another surgery for a broken shoulder. Several ribs were broken as well. Two weeks into his recovery from the accident, he suffered a set back and had to have a drain placed for a gallbladder infection. Ron spent most of December in the hospital. Unfortunately this accident caused Ron additional injuries and also brought about additional expenses because the city can not be held liable for the damages.
I have been a life long friend of Debi. I know that she and Ron are hard working people that would never ask for help. But Ron has not been able to work for several months and they have had lots of extra expenses that are not covered by insurance. Several friends have asked what they can do to help. I am hoping that family and friends can come together and support them during this difficult time. Please keep this family in your prayers.
