Help Ron through his battle with Pancreatic cancer

Early 2024, our dear family member Ron shared with us the serious health challenge he had identified, pancreatic cancer. Notwithstanding the early detection, and encouraged by his youthful vitality at 62 years, his cancer care treatment plan outlined four months of regular chemotherapy, surgery to remove the tumor and recovery, followed again with several more months of chemotherapy to eliminate any remaining cancer cells. It’s a lot, but true to form, Ron has remained positive, resolute and hopeful in his healing journey determined that this would be another opportunity for something good to unfold. In addition to the standard treatment plan, with the blessing and recommendation of his oncology team, Ron began adding other holistic care from a naturopathic cancer care center, with many cutting edge treatment options like hyperbaric chamber, and vitamine IV infusions, for example. These supplemental care options and others are not covered in the traditional insurance plan, which left Ron considering how to properly invest in his best healing options while out of work temporarily, while on a significantly reduced income. At hearing the news, every single person has asked “what can I do to help, Ron, what do you need?” Ron’s response has been, “your love and prayers both comfort and strengthen my healing resolve!” True. And then as the supplemental treatment bills began to grow, Ron became increasingly comfortable with the possibility of allowing the many beautiful people in his life who mean so much to him, to share their loving intention to help fund his healing efforts. And thus, this GoFundMe account has been created. A place for family and friends to share their loving intention in whatever means or size to help in this critical moment, this window for healing. The possibility of leveraging all of that shared love toward a goal of maximizing a successful outcome for Ron, gives all of us family a renewed sense of hope and purpose in his journey.
