Rooster Cogburn was in a rural area, with a ruptured eye. His eye was removed, but due to infection, his eye needs surgery to remove any residual infected tissue. At only about 7 weeks old, he's been thru so much, yet is a happy, snuggly kitten! He's a great example of "True Grit"!
More information about Whisker Stop: We are a licensed animal rescue , non profit organization with a mission dedicated to lessening the suffering of community animals . We help with abandoned and stray animals ,injured and medically needy animals ,and at risk animals in high kill shelters . We assist in finding rescue for animals in dire situations and off set costs for their medical needs . We are active in TNR and promote spaying and neutering to decrease and control the over population issue in our area.We also help feed feral cats .
