Help Rosie Get a Life-Saving Service Dog

At ten months old we found out our daughter’s pancreas had died. She was diagnosed with type one diabetes and will be insulin dependent for the rest of her life. Being so young it’s extremely hard to avoid the quick rise and fall of her blood sugars. When Rosie has low blood sugar she is at risk of seizures and they can even become fatal if not treated in time. Her sugars tend to drop very quickly and although she wears a CGM on her arm it isn’t always accurate. We are hoping to raise funds for a service dog for her. The dog costs around $25,000 as it goes through extensive training (including being trained to her blood specifically we send in her blood when it’s high, low and within range) they also fly in with the dog and this covers flights, hotels etc while they spend a week here training the dog with our family. This would be an added layer of protection for her and give us a little bit more peace of mind especially while she’s so young. We are very appreciative to anyone who is willing to donate and share!
