Help Ross fight his battle with Leukemia
Donation protected
As many already know, my brother, Ross, was diagnosed with Leukemia in May of last year. It was a quick onset and Ross spent months in the hospital undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy and a stem-cell transplant. Ross is home for now but it will be a long road to a full recovery. It has been both an emotional and physical rollercoaster every day. We can't expect a full recovery for at least a year and it could be up to 3 years before we can confidently say Ross is cured of his cancer.
Not only are we dealing with the stress of this diagnosis, but the stress of medical bills. Unfortunately, he no longer has healthcare coverage through his employer because he has been advised to refrain from working until he's fully recovered from the transplant.
Ross is 30 years old with his whole life ahead of him. Let's help him kick cancer's butt so he can get back to mountain biking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, camping, hikes with his dog, Sheikkah, and all the things he loves doing.
If you would like to learn more about his story, he has been journaling through caring bridge.
