Help Roxy get new hips

Hi, my name is Kayleigh. Roxy is our beautiful golden retriever puppy who is now 6 months old. We have been taking her to the vets as she developed a sudden limp in her back legs and was struggling to stand up and walk after running over the common for the first time, which was heartbreaking to see. She is currently on metacam pain relief every day.

I am trying to fundraise to try and help my mum and dad pay for the treatment that our puppy Roxy needs.

The vets have diagnosed Roxy with hip dysplasia which can be a genetic condition. My mum did everything she could to make sure we were buying a healthy and happy puppy, but the vets say this can happen even if the parents had good hip and elbow scores.

My mum and dad took out insurance, which has helped but it doesn't cover the operation she will need because of how expensive it is. Roxy will need a full hip replacement on both hips to enable her to have a happy and pain-free life.

Any help would be so much appreciated to get the treatment done as soon as possible to prevent osteoarthritis, which will cause even more pain for our beautiful little girl.

Roxy is the most loving and calm baby, and we are hoping that once we have her fit and healthy, we can register her as a therapy dog so that we can give back to the community as a thank you for any help we get.
