Help Rozy Recover and Rebuild After Tragic Loss and Injuries

On September 24th, my sister, Rozy Lijo George, and her husband were in a devastating car accident while travelling with friends. Tragically, her husband, just 31 years old, did not survive the crash. Rozy, at 32, miraculously survived but sustained severe, lifelong injuries to her hip, and lower jaw.

In addition to these injuries, Rozy has broken ribs and a broken eye socket. She’s been recommended bed rest for the next few months and is currently unable to walk. She needs assistance for even the most basic tasks—going to the bathroom, standing up, walking, cooking, and eating.

Rozy was in Canada on a visitor’s visa. This leaves her in a vulnerable position, relying on others for both her day-to-day care and financial support.

Rozy is facing a long and challenging road to recovery, including multiple surgeries and ongoing treatment to help her regain some independence. As she battles the trauma of losing her husband and the immense physical pain from her injuries, our family is seeking help to support her during this incredibly difficult time.

We need to raise funds to cover the expenses of staying in Canada for her treatment. Additionally, we hope to help secure her financial future so she can rebuild her life, regain her independence, and one day stand on her own two feet again.
