My name is Moatesem and I'm a Palestinian living in the Gaza Strip. Today, it is with a heavy heart that I come to you to ask for your help in getting my family members out of Gaza.

My family in Gaza is composed of four members, including my wife and my two sons. Unfortunately, I have received news. Since the start of the war, we have lost more than 98 cousins, leaving us uncertain about the fate of my aunts, uncles and their children. The war has stripped us of everything: our homes, our businesses and our sense of security.

My name is Véronique and I live in Canada. I am a friend of Moatasem Fouad Mohammed and his family, his wife and their two sons, Muhammad and Kenan. I decided to start this fundraising campaign to help them leave Gaza, Palestine, given the situation of destruction and serious insecurity caused by the war that has been going on for nearly 6 months.

We've set a fundraising goal of CAD 50,000, which will cover the 4 family members' travel to Egypt, as well as their living expenses and accommodation once they reach their safe destination.

I am the only person in charge of transferring the funds raised to Moatesem. The funds will be sent to Gaza by international bank transfer between the Royal Bank of Canada and the Bank of Palestine.
