Help Rudy beat Blastomycosis

The love of our life Rudy is fighting so hard for her life right now so positive vibes and prayers are needed this way ❤️❤️

 

It’s been a rollercoaster of a month getting misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis and finally on Friday we got some answers. She has Blastomycosis which comes from a fungus spore that lives in the soil and is very rare, but 20 times more common than other places around the Great Lakes. (Her favorite areas of course)

 

It’s rapidly taking over her lungs and central nervous system and the past few days honestly have been absolute hell and we weren’t sure if she was going to make it through this morning after having 4 seizures, no coordination or ability to hold herself up and shortness of breath.

 

Through lots of research, friends knowledge and an AWESOME group on Facebook of people like us going through this, we think we have the right treatment / medication. Now all we can do is lay by her side and hope her body is strong enough still to start fighting the good fight.

 

We’re prepared for the worst, but hoping for the best because she’s our everything and such a fighter!!

 

Medications & vet/hospital visits are going to be our future for the next year if she makes it. We are committed to doing everything we can.  Love and prayers are also much appreciated!!!
