Help Rudy (Fong) Beat Stage 4 Cancer

Dear Family, Friends, and caring community. This is Josie, wife to dear Husband, and caring Father Rudy Fong (Sandoval). I am reaching out to you to help Rudy beat Cancer! We know we can do it together and pray you become a part of his cure!

This past year 2023, Rudy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer which metastasized to half a dozen lymph nodes beyond his stomach. Rudy’s diagnosis has made us appreciate the little things in life as we have put ourselves in God’s hands. Rudy has always been a fighter and we know he’ll remain strong and beat this. 

My husband is the only source of income for our family of four, including our two young daughters, 12 and 14 years old, who dearly pray for Papi’s recovery. Rudy has stayed dedicated to his family, being able to work part-time only, so money has been tight. With your help I hope he can take some days off so that he can give himself time to recover from chemotherapy side effects.

We are also fighting our health insurance for unpaid medical bills and will certainly incur additional medical expenses in the year ahead. With your help, we also intend to cover costs for holistic approaches not covered by our insurance, and which otherwise we can’t afford, to fight painful side effects of chemotherapy he has suffered.

Many of you have graciously asked how you can help and this would be a nice way to do so. No donation is too small, really, and all donations will make the long road ahead much more manageable. If you know Rudy, he is a person who is always looking on the brighter side and looking to inspire others through this challenging journey. We hope to not only gain your support but also to spread stomach cancer awareness.
