This campaign is to assist Devilyn, Rugaz Rescue's founder and backbone to get back on the road. Anyone who knows Devilyn knows she works tirelessly day in and day out to rescue, rehabiliate and rehome neglected and abandoned dogs throughout the state of Florida.
Devilyn ALWAYS puts the dogs first. She would never ask for assistance with anything personally which is why we created this campaign for her.
Unfortunately Devilyn was involved in an accident with her vehicle due to a failure of a part of the vehicle which is not covered under the warranty. She would need to replace the engine which is very costly.
Devilyn's vehicle is Rugaz's main mode of transportation. We need to get her back on the road as soon as possible! Without Devilyn doing the work she does day in and day out, rescue efforts will come to a halt and it will greatly impact the outcome for a lot of innocent animals.
Devilyn wouldn't ask for help if it was for her personally, but by helping her we are helping the dogs. The rescue simply cannot operate without her.
Any amount helps. We don't know the full cost of the engine replacement but the current estimate is around $3000. If that changes an update will be made.
