Help Ruger get Chemo!
Spende geschützt
Hi everyone! I've started this account to help out Steph & Van with Ruger's quickly piling up vet bills. On December 29th, Ruger lost his ability to pee, and poop. He was extremely uncomfortable, and like good parents, Steph & Van took him to the ER vet. He was put on an array of medications to cover the symptoms, though no diagnosis was made. His prostate was the size of a tennis ball, and an abscess or cancer was at the top of their lists. Ruger is a three year old, otherwise healthy neutered boy, so his symptoms have had 4 veterinarians stumped. 24 hours into the medication, Ruger seemed better, he was pooping and peeing on his own, until the weekend when it stopped again completely. Away from home Steph & Van took him to yet another ER vet where they manually drained him, and again, more meds, no diagnosis. The following Monday, Ruger went to yet another vet, for a referral to a specialist, which is where we're at right now. Up until today, vet bills we're already over a thousand dollars, and it was another 1,100$ to walk into the door of the specialist. Currently we're waiting for results from the tests being run at the specialist, but cancer is at the top of her list.
Steph & Van would do anything for their dogs, regardless of cost, and I know right now it's the least of their worries, they just want Ruger to be healthy again. With permission from Steph, if anyone can donate to Ruger's bills, it would be one less thing for them to worry about (they also have two other pups at home!) It is worth mentioning, BOTH Steph & Van are active service members of the Airforce, and are stationed in North Carolina- lets show them how much we appreciate our military & help them save their boy!
I will update when we get any answers.
