Help RUNNING WILD RESCUE End Their Intake Freeze

Donation protected
Running Wild Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue founded in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. This rescue helps ANY and ALL animals that need their help. Dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, rabbits, hamsters, you name it! They've grown to have fosters and partners all across Western Canada and help as many animals as they can, have a long and happy life in a home that loves them deeply.

Sadly, the prairies have been struggling with an overwhelming stray dog population. Many communities are being forced to euthanize dogs, and puppies, simply because they are concerned for the safety of the families in their communities. Local pounds hold animals for only 3-7 days before declaring an animal a stray and euthanizing them.

Running Wild Rescue receives inquiries DAILY to step in and help in these communities, and they try to help as many as they can. As long as there are fosters willing to help, RWR jumps into action! Unfortunately, a number of the dogs that came into care this summer were pregnant, and there are FIVE litters of puppies now being cared for, and they will all need vaccinations and further vetting, and of course their mommas will need to be spayed as soon as possible.

In addition to new litters of puppies, RWR has also stepped in to help a number of dogs who have needed major surgeries to repair damage after being hit by cars, caught in hunting traps, or shot with pellet guns.

RWR also has had a significant increase in cats coming into care. Kitten season always comes in heavy, but cat rescues in Saskatchewan are finding themselves overwhelmed and burnt out, resulting in a number of them closing their doors this past year. RWR has answered the call for aid and taken in the kitties left in care when these rescues have had to say farewell.

All of these situations added together has put RWR in tremendous financial stress. Unfortunately, their main vet has declared that they can no longer provide major services until AT LEAST $30,000 of their current vet bill has been paid. PLEASE consider helping Running Wild Rescue pay off this bill so that they can continue to provide the life saving services needed for SO MANY animals in need!
