Help Russell Berg on his road to recovery!

Donation protected
On January 10th, Russell was in an accident that has since turned both his and his family’s life upside down. It began when he tried moving over in the tractor for oncoming traffic and a tire caught the ditch. The tractor ended up flipping the tractor on top of himself.  He was able to crawl out from underneath on the road to safety in the ditch. Family was able to call 911, from there he was air lifted to North Memorial and was initially placed in ICU. He suffered a broken pelvis (several fractures and dislocated joints) several broken ribs, and internal bleeding. On the afternoon of the 11th, he was transferred from the ICU to the floor where he will be until he has surgery on 11/12 for fix his fractured pelvis and ensure the internal bleeding has stopped.  It is expected that he will be in the hospital for at least a week and will discharge to home or a rehab facility as he will be no weight bearing. The doctors say that he will be out of work for at least 6-8 weeks.  This page has been set up to assist with any medical expenses that occur and lost wages. Unfortunately he does not have short term disability and will not have an income for the following months to come. In addition, the funding will assist family in the travel back and forth to the hospital, therapies, etc
