Help Russell Family after devastating accident

Hi, my name is Sharon Robbins and I am fundraising to support my friends, Barb and Dave Russell. On Saturday, April 23, their son, Griffin, was heading west to his tree-planting contract in Kamloops, B.C. Griffin found a fellow tree-planter online to share the driving and gas. Just outside of Marathon, ON, as Griffin slept in the passenger seat, the vehicle left the road and hit a rock face. He was rushed to Marathon Hospital and then transferred to Thunder Bay. Barb and Dave have left their home in Peterborough and are now at Griffin's side in Thunder Bay.  Griffin was placed in a medically induced comma and currently remains in ICU in critical condition.   

 

The following is directly from Barb and Dave. "As far as we know, the driver sustained a broken collar bone, while Griffin suffered multiple injuries. He fractured his skull along with his right orbital bone; he broke his femural neck and his right ulna and radius, left ulna, and right tibia. He has sustained severe brain trauma and his recovery is a mystery. We know brains take a very long time to heal, and rehab could take years."
