Help Ruth get the operation to straighten her foot

Hi my name is Ernest Lee aka Nana Sankhahkara when in Ghana.

I am creating this go fund appeal to help a 5 year old girl named Ruth Nartey, who I met while doing some voluntary work in Ghana, West Africa.

While living in Ghana with my wife Rafiatu Idrisu-Lee I started a youth football team at the local field near to where we live at a town called Nganoman, which is beside Kpone Bawaleshie near Dodowa in Greater Accra.

The football field is beside Nganoman KKA school. The headmistress is Alijata Mahama. Most of the children that come to my football training are from this school and one day I noticed this small girl hobbling around with her class mates. I enquired as to why this young girl was hobbling around and found out she had an accident when a wall fell on her foot when she was younger and her foot has been twisted ever since.

I have met Ruth's mother and 3 other siblings and promised I would assist in helping to get Ruth's foot operated on so that she can walk, run and have the same opportunities as her class mates.

Ruth's mother has been taken Ruth to Korle Bu hospital in Accra who have assessed Ruth's foot and given the cost of 9000 Cedis. The cost may have risen as the estimate was given in January.

I am fundraising for £700 which will cover the cost of the operation plus some aftercare until Ruth can walk properly.
