Help Ruth Marsden Rebuild After Palisades Fire

Please help us support Ruth Marsden and her family as they rebuild their lives after the devastation of the Palisades fire.

Their home, which Ruth’s father built by hand in 1992, was tragically burned to the ground on Wednesday.

Ruth has been a long time teacher at Our Lady of Malibu School, and a staple to the Malibu community. She is a beloved mother and grandmother who goes above and beyond for the people in her life, always sacrificing her own needs to help others. Now we want to try to help Ruth.

In addition to being a teacher , she spends her off-time tutoring children in our community. Ruth is the full time caretaker of her husband who is in poor health and has been unable to work since 2008. She also spent all her weekends caring for her elderly mother for several years before her passing in 2023.

Ruth raised her children in this home , and lost not only her house but all of her belongings, as well as her sense of security and comfort.

Donations will go directly to Ruth, to secure temporary accommodations, purchase essential items, and begin the process of recovery.
