Help Ruthie & Tony Griffin After Eaton Fire Destruction

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and community,

Johnnie Ruth Griffin (Ruthie), a beloved long-time resident of Altadena for over 70 years, has been an active and dedicated member of her church and the local community. She has devoted 40 years working at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena. Now, in her senior years, Ruthie, along with her husband Tony, is facing an overwhelming loss after their home was destroyed in the Eaton Canyon fires.

This tragedy comes on the heels of profound grief, as Ruthie and Tony also lost their only surviving child, Tamiko, a few years ago. As they navigate this difficult time, we are reaching out for support, hoping for the kindness of others to help them through this heartbreaking ordeal. With God’s grace and the generosity of the community, the Griffin's will find their way forward.

Your donation will provide for the Griffin family’s immediate needs, including temporary housing for Ruthie, Tony, and their two dogs. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference as they rebuild their lives.

We are deeply thankful for the outpouring of love and support. On behalf of my family, we are truly grateful for your kindness and assistance during this challenging time.

With heartfelt thanks,
The Roquemore Family

Note: The Griffins are Godparents to the Roquemores.
