Help Ruva Compete At The Regeneron ISEF :)

Hi!
My name is Ruvarashe Moyo, a young researcher from Harare, Zimbabwe, working to bring sustainable development to my community. Last month l participated in the Zimbabwe Science Fair with my project of investigating the presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA in sewage and using bricks to purify wastewater since it is cheap, clean and efficient. I conducted this research after seeing that many people in my community are directly exposed to sewage that contains the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This sewage sometimes finds its way into drinking water, posing potential health risks to most Zimbabweans who use tap water.
At the Zimbabwe Science Fair,l scooped a gold medal and was selected to be a finalist at the 2022 Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF). The Regeneron ISEF is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition that brings more than 1,800 students from more than 80 countries. I have dreamt of making it to ISEF since childhood.
Unfortunately, the Zimbabwe Science Fair does not have the financial capacity to fund its young scientists. Therefore, l will not be able to afford the flight and accommodation fees to Atlanta, Georgia, in May on my own.
I will be grateful for any contribution and will channel my best efforts to the improvement and presentation of my project. Thank you.
