Ryan was in a motorcycle accident

Donation protected

This past Monday my cousin's fiance' Ryan Hutchings was involved in a severe motorcycle accident right outside of Winston-Salem, NC. Ryan was riding his bike home from work around 5pm when he went down. We were told that he went down and slid both the bike and himself under a tractor trailer on the road.

He is currently in the ICU trying to recover from his injuries. He has 4-5 5mm intraparenchymal hematoma brain bleeds as well as T7-T11 vertebrae damage. He also has a little bit of road rash and some minor bruising /lumps & bumps. The family is trying to stay positive right now and are praying for a full recovery and return home to Heather and their 3 kids.

He is still heavily sedated and on a ventilator as well as intubation tube for feeding. Today he made progress in the form of wiggling his foot and eyebrows. The nurses and doctors at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center have been taking amazing care of him and my cousin who is the only one there with him due to COVID-19 restrictions. Heather said she doesn't know how she would have gotten through these past two days without them.

I know times are hard right now for almost everyone with the past year 1/2, but honestly anything will help. Ryan is currently the sole provider for the family as Heather stays home with the children. Their family would be absolutely grateful for anything they receive including prayers and healing vibes sent their way.
