Help Ryan Piper and Family in Fight Against Cancer

Our friend Ryan has been quietly and courageously battling cancer for over five years. In 2017, he was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the Larynx. What started as cancer in his neck has now metastasized to other areas around his body. Ryan is a fighter and continues to battle this aggressive disease with determination and grit. In talking with him, you would think it's just another day, he's the most upbeat warrior you'll ever know.

Throughout his 20+ year career, Ryan has been a loyal police officer and most recently a Sargeant in Minnetonka. Despite his illness, he proudly goes to work every day to serve Minnetonka and surrounding communities. Ryan's incredible wife Morgan is a police detective with the Edina Police Department and has been right by his side through it all fighting this and being his rock.

In the spirit of a true fighter, though he has endured several treatments and debilitating side effects, Ryan hasn't stopped traveling and getting on the ice with his and Morgan's children Avery & Jack. They recently traveled to a hockey tournament to see their kids play and cheer them on. Living life at its fullest.

Some of us have known Ryan most of our lives, and if you know him, you love him. Everywhere Ryan ever went, high school, college, anywhere, he made new friends. He'd give you the shirt right off of his back. He would protect you at no cost. He's one of the great ones. To see him fighting this illness is very hard and I'm hoping we can come together to raise some funds for his family to help with the ongoing medical expenses and trips back and forth to Mayo.

Please continue to pray and keep Morgan, Avery, Jack and Ryan in your hearts. This is an unimaginable journey for them and anything we can do to help is so appreciated.
