Help Ryan Rebuild After Hurricane Helene Loss

Hi, my name is Apana Naff, and I am one of Ryan Waugh’s team members out of Virginia Beach, VA. I’m reaching out with several other members of our team and district here at Paychex to ask for your support for our dear friend and incredible manager, Ryan, who has just experienced a devastating loss. Ryan’s home in Saint Petersburg, Florida, was completely destroyed by the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Helene, and he now faces the overwhelming task of starting over.

Ryan is not only an outstanding leader but also a remarkable human being who exemplifies kindness, integrity, and unwavering support. He’s always there for us, guiding us through tough times with grace and strength, and he’s overcome more than his share of hardships in life. Now, after everything he has already faced, this devastating hurricane has taken his home, leaving him in a position no one should have to endure.

In the aftermath of the storm, Ryan rushed to Saint Petersburg to assist with FEMA operations and salvage what little he could from the wreckage. Tragically, his entire home was reduced to ruins. The heartbreak and shock are indescribable, as his property and personal belongings are now lost. He will now need to focus not only on rebuilding his home but also on finding temporary shelter and replacing the most basic necessities.

Ryan will need support for immediate needs like temporary housing, clothing, and everyday essentials, as well as the longer-term costs of rebuilding his home and life. Although FEMA and insurance may help, they won’t cover everything, and Ryan shouldn’t have to bear this weight alone. We’re coming together to help lift some of the financial burden off his shoulders, so he can focus on getting back on his feet.
