Help Ryan ride the storm and get started on the next chapter

Hi.

Those who know me know that even the concept of asking people for help is something that causes anxiety and sleepless nights.

In September I was let go from my tech job where I had landed in 2021 and have been struggling to get a lot of attention to my resume when applying to tech postings since.

I exhausted my unemployment in March. I had to move out of my home in February and will be looking for somewhere to hang my hat while I get through the summer.

It has been a difficult eight months and I really don't want to impose on you with a litany of things that has happened since September that has been a case of "when it rains it pours".

What I am hoping to do is refit and pack my Jetta for a summer on the road. Portable internet (StarLink), solar panels, batteries, a two-room tent, and working on picking up small tech jobs through UpWork while I continue to apply to jobs in hopes to land the interview that gets me the posting.

And I also hope to spend time hiking, finding new vistas, taking photos and working on a few projects for d3photo that I have started in this downturn (d3archive.com, d3challenge.com, etc.).

All funds will be used to keep me moving and keep me motivated.

The initial thought/plan right now is to start by heading north to the edge of the BWCAW for a few weeks, get things figured out and set up and then look into a loop -- Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, and South Dakota over the course of the entire summer.

All who help will be given a chance to request a type of photograph that could be taken/given to them as a thank you for their assistance.
