Help Rylee Walker & Family Recover

Hi - my name is Erika and I am fundraising for my niece & her family.

Rylee Walker is a 16-year-old girl who loves sports, friends, and life. She is an athlete at North Central High School and a member of a traveling volleyball league. She has a bright future ahead of her, but everything changed on October 13, 2023.

Rylee was on her way home from a football game with some friends when their truck was hit by a school bus. The impact was so severe that Rylee had to be rushed to the ICU, where she spent a week. She suffered four fractures in her pelvis and a broken rib, among emotional trauma. She was lucky to survive, but her recovery will be long and hard.

Rylee is currently in a rehab facility an hour away from her home, where she is undergoing physical therapy and learning to walk again. She misses her family, her friends, and her normal life. Her parents, John and Katlyn Walker, have been by her side every step of the way, but they are struggling to cope with the medical bills, the travel expenses, and the emotional toll of this tragedy. Rylee’s sister, who is also her best friend, can only visit and FaceTime her until she comes home.
