Help Sadie Get a Service dog and medical bills

Donation protected
Hello, I am Angela Tayson Sadies mother. Over the last almost 9 years Sadie has been struggling with medical issues. When she was just 6 weeks of age they sent her to Devos Children's hospital as my 6 week old was down to 4lbs 6oz (she was 6lbs 1oz at birth) and not thriving. Over the next several weeks we went through test after test with no solid answers. They placed a feeding tube thinking it was a fix-all and she just needed a little extra help to grow. Little did we know this would be the first of many hospital trips. As the months passed she progressively got worse and they had to move her NG tube to an NJ tube and bypass her stomach. Over the next year, we continued with tube feeds, but it didn't solve everything and she continue to get sick. Sadie has spent the majority of her life throwing up food that sits in her stomach for hours, days or even up to a week at a few points. We ended up at multiple hospitals over the next 2 1/2 years running every test under the sun on Sadie until one day they realized she has a rare condition called Gastroparesis. Only 0.16 percent of the population suffers from this rare condition and all of her doctors in Michigan and in Ohio said she was the youngest child they had ever seen this in. Sadie has been through a lot of ups and downs over the last several years with her Gastroparesis. We recently started going to a doctor that had an emotional support animal and we have seen such a change in her demeanor when we can have visits at his office verse the hospital. Her doctor in Colorado suggested since this is a chronic illness that we might start looking at the idea of getting a registered service dog that can go into hospitals with her. Since September Sadie has spent more days than not sick. This year has been exceptionally hard on her as we are dealing with a lot of unknowns as we are awaiting Biopsy they took from her upper gi. She also has been struggling with dehydration and continues to blow IV's and has caused a significant amount of trauma when being faced with hospital trips. Sadie is begging and pleading at this point to never go back to the hospital, but we know that's not an option. Her road is a hard one and many tears have been cried by all. She will never recover from this as there is no cure. Her father and I talked about a service dog and how it can help her in so many ways that we can not. These last 9 months have been exceptionally hard financially with her having to have a cat scan, and upper GI with biopsy all within a few weeks of each other. Even with our Blue Cross Blue Shield we still had to pay out of pocket almost 3,000 for these two visit and its only February. In her almost 9 years of life we have never asked for any help and have drained a lot of our savings to keep her going. We want to give Sadie some hope and some relief with a service dog that can go into the hospital with her as he will be fully trained to handle her anxiety and PTSD. We have reached out to a few foundations, but they won't help a child who is so young get a service animal. We have picked out the breed of labradoodle and are working on securing an animal as things get closer. There is a trainer over in Golden, Colorado that is willing to help train a medical PTSD/anxiety service animal for Sadie we are just asking for some help with the financial aspect to give Sadie a little easier life when it comes to hospitals and procedures. She has been determined she is going to buy her dog and brought me her paint can full of change and said this should be enough mom.....it breaks my heart that i can't fix my child. I thank you for taking the time to even read this and I will keep you posted on our journey.
