Help Sarah Carver Kick Cancer!

Hi! My name is Ireland Carver. Just this past June, my mom, Sadie, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. While this was a major shock to me and my sisters and brothers (and our dad), she has been positive. Her great attitude in this fight has set the tone for all of us around her. She is cheerful and determined to face this cancer head-on with laughter and joy.

The diagnosis, unfortunately, came 4 weeks before my dad's new insurance started, so she wasn't covered. And now there is still a huge deductible and the costs are adding up. My parents are starting off this journey with a bill of nearly $15,000 already racked up. My mom is facing surgery in a couple weeks, then 16 Weeks of Chemo, followed by radiation. This means her having to take unpaid time off from work. My dad has already started working overtime to help, but he will need to take time off to help take care of my mom. I am starting this just to help take away some of the financial burden. They both have been SO strong so far!
