Help Sadie with her second kidney transplant.

Hello, I’m Ceilidh and I have started this gofundme to help my sister Sadie.

Sadie had her first transplant of a kidney and pancreas 20 years ago due to complications from diabetes. 20 years is a mind blowing achievement and is a testament to Sid’s courage, commitment and motivation to take the best care of this precious gift and, of course, it has not been without some deep challenges.

The time has now come to live this experience again for Sadie, she is currently waiting on the transplant list, which comes with some immense physical and emotional challenges, the kind most of us may never quite fully comprehend.

My goal for this fund raiser is to, hopefully, offer my sister a little ease and sense of security, something to help with any unexpected medical costs and, not just that. She has recently started a degree in psychology which she completely adores and I hope this might also help with some of her educational expenses as I know this would also mean so much to her.

I am so proud of my sister and everything she has achieved despite all the “invisible” challenges. I love her so much and she is the best auntie to my babies.
