Help Saeed's Family in Gaza

Hi, my name is Nadia, I live in the Netherlands and I met Saeed through his sister Dina, who reached out to me asking for help in fundraising for her family's evacuation. Since we started talking we became very close and I love them dearly. We were experiencing issues with the previous link and his cousin's bank account being questioned by the bank a lot due to several fundraising campaigns, so I offered to use my account to fundraise.

My friend Saeed used to own a clothing store called Switch and another successful business in Gaza.

They lived a beautiful life together with his wife Raghda and children Maryam and Mahmoud. Today, Mahmoud is 6 years old and Maryam is 2.

Mahmoud has already missed a year of school and will have to catch up a lot, one year of school is a lot of knowledge that needs to be learned all over again.

Maryam is the sweetest little girl, always helping her parents with the dishes and cooking, as well as selling cans to make ends meet.

Unfortunately, since October they've lost everything - their home, their business, all source of income and peace, being displaced time and time again and struggling to survive.

Raghda gave birth 3 months ago to a beautiful healthy baby boy Mohammed, and it's been incredibly challenging taking care of such a young baby and her other 2 children, who don't understand what is happening.

Saeed tells me that the children really want to leave the tent and play with other children and eat sweets, but that's not available. Mahmoud has missed a year of school and his development is stuck in one place due to the lack of safety and all the schools in Gaza being destroyed.

Saeed and Raghda want to evacuate to offer a chance to their children to build a happy future, where they can receive an education and have a happy childhood.

As well as Saeed and Raghda, we are seeking funds to help evacuate other family members:

Please don't leave my friends alone in this situation, help them survive this and leave if the border opens again. I will transfer the funds to Saeed's sister Dina who lives in Egypt and she will transfer them to Saeed, in order to help them evacuate.
