Emergency: Save Safaa Nijim from War

Hello, I am Safaa. I want to tell you my story about the war. I am 26 years old and a mother of three children. My daughter Mira is 5 years old, my son Zain is 2 years old, and my son Yamen, the newborn, is a month old. I live in the Gaza Strip and I am displaced in the city of Rafah. I work as a beautician and my husband works as an electrical technician. Our life was happy. And my children are beautiful, playing with their toys and enjoying themselves in a beautiful, warm and quiet house. My wish was to expand my house to receive the new baby and decorate the house to receive guests. We bought new furniture and we were living happy and stable days. My family and I suddenly, without warning, left our house after we left the house. There was a glimmer of hope that I would return home and that we would meet him as he was. Days after leaving, they told me that my house had been burned and completely destroyed. My life had become a nightmare. The feeling of oppression, pain and sadness did not leave me.

Due to the destruction of the house, I was not able to provide a comfortable life for my children. After the destruction, my children’s toys were burned. The psychological state of my children is bad because they live a very difficult life. Not days passed and then our lives turned into hardship. In the tent, we cooked food on the fire stove and baked bread with difficulty as well. All the beautiful memories were burned in a flash. Basr, I work as a beautician, and my husband is an electrical technician. All the work tools were completely destroyed, along with the house and furniture. Now we no longer have a home and we no longer have a source of income to live from. Our dreams and ambitions were dashed in an instant. My children grew up in the war and I gave birth to the baby in the tent, and the low temperatures made my children sick. They need healthy food, warm housing, and a source of livelihood from which to live, and to provide all of their daily needs. Every day that passes us increases our suffering more and more with the lack of food and lack of health care.

With the lack of health care and the high prices of goods, we need you to contribute to restoring the joy and smiles on the faces of my children and ensuring a decent life for them like the rest of the children of the world. Thank you for your support, it helped us securing some supplies. We got displaced again out of Rafah. currently in a tent beside a street.Despite the very hot weather, the sand,the insects and the kids skin rash, Winter is Comming, we are concerned of the rain, tents dont hold.
