I am Sahar, a Palestinian from Gaza.

After I had a beautiful life and my rosy dreams that I had always dreamed of and waited for came true, by marrying my life partner Issam and moving to his house, where we only stayed for a few days until we found ourselves in the middle of the war, fleeing to save ourselves and our family.

As our journey of displacement and moving from one place to another continued, leaving our home that was destroyed and our dreams that were shattered as if they had never existed over the past 11 months. After we had a warm home that sheltered us, we are now on the side of the road living in catastrophic conditions where there are no necessities of life. We suffer from a shortage of water, food, sanitary tools, electricity, shelter and all necessary resources.
