Help Sahar's Family After Devastating Fire

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

My name is Sahar. My husband and I have a 1.5-year-old baby girl and our 3-year-old dog.

As soon as I got pregnant with our baby girl, we started to search for our future home together. We finally found our dream starter home in Pacific Palisades right before our daughter's first birthday. The house was everything we had hoped for—a place close to our parents to help with raising our baby while we both worked, and a community to build our future.

We poured our hearts, and resources into remodeling the house, transforming it into a home we could call our own. Right before the holidays, we completed the remodel and began to settle and enjoy it.

This was short-lived. When the fires came, they destroyed everything we had worked hard to build, including cherished items our parents brought with them from our home countries. In just a few hours, it was all gone.
