Help Saige Obtain Gender-Affirming Healthcare

Hi, my name is Saige. I am a transgender woman living in the state of Indiana, and I am currently in the process of obtaining gender-affirming surgeries, specifically bottom surgery, facial feminization surgery, and breast augmentation surgery.

I experience gender dysphoria that would be alleviated by these procedures and would allow me to live my life happy in my own body instead of feeling alienated by it daily. As a barista, working with the public is the norm for me, and I am often aware that my appearance does not always match my identity. When you have hundreds of people staring at you for most of your working week, it's hard to not succumb to the dysphoria from my face and body not matching my internal experiences of myself and my being.

In addition, I do live streams on YouTube as a hobby, and the process of being in front of a camera and editing videos means I am constantly seeing my face and being bombarded with all of the features that lead me into despair. These are life-saving and life-giving surgeries and would allow me to live comfortably as the woman I was always meant to be.

While much of the cost of these surgeries will be covered by my health insurance, I am fundraising to help cover expenses related to these surgeries that would not be covered: specifically, costs related to traveling out of state for surgeries and follow-up appointments after, including temporary housing expenses, expenses for treatment following the surgeries, temporary loss of income from needing an extended period off work, and unexpected expenses arising from noncovered procedures, medications, equipment, etc. Any money left over from surgeries will be used to obtain other gender-affirming surgeries as well as cover extra costs surrounding them.

I'm aware that this is a big ask. I'm not asking for a small sum, and I know that most people are unable to provide much, but any amount helps and is immensely appreciated.
