Saipan Cares For Animals URGENTLY Needs Your Help!

The Saipan Zoning Board recently denied Saipan Cares for Animals (SCA) an extension at their current location in As Gonno, and by that decision are forcing SCA to stop all operations by January 31, 2022. SCA cannot afford even a temporary cessation of services and it is likely that they would have to close permanently. SCA is now faced with the prospect of finding homes for the 150+ animals in their care, or face the horrendous prospect of being forced to euthanize those who could not be re-homed.

SCA is currently working on a new location. However this land is not developed at all and will need to be bulldozed and cleared before fencing and building of kennels, the new clinic complete with power, water, and sewage. All this important work takes a huge amount of money and is coming almost entirely from donations of time, services, and funds from supporters.

SCA is the ONLY non-profit rescue clinic that provides low cost services to the Northern Mariana Islands. Since the closure of Saipan's single veterinary office, SCA is currently the only organization providing medical care for animals in the CNMI. Their services include vaccination, emergency care, and spay/neuter services with the help of our volunteer veterinarians who come from all over the world to donate their time towards helping animals in need. SCA also takes in many sick and abandoned animals and rehabilitates them so that they can find a loving new home!
