Help Sakiko After Palisades Fire

Hi friends,

As you know, our dear Sakiko has been profoundly impacted by the Palisades fire. Like many others affected, she had only minutes to leave her home, managing to take just a few essential items with her.

While we're incredibly grateful that Sakiko is physically safe and has found temporary shelter with family in LA, she faces significant challenges in the weeks and months ahead. Many of her daily necessities and personal belongings were lost in the fire.

This GoFundMe will help support Sakiko during this difficult transition period. The funds will assist with her immediate and ongoing needs as she works to stabilize her situation.

I literally knew no one and during our “welcome week” as freshman at NYU, she brought me into her mix, and now 19 years later we’ve seen each other through a lot of life. Being friends with Saki means you have the most incredible, loving friend for life.
