Help Salvador & the Lule family

On August 26th, 2021 Sal was one of the thousands of Marines assigned to protect and evacuate people from the Kabul airport in Afghanistan. During the attack which killed 12 other Marines and a Corpsman, Sal was severely injured in the blast. He was flown to Walter Reed medical center where he faces a long road to recovery. His mom and oldest brother Frankie flew out on 9/1 to be able to see him and will be providing updates as they get them.

Sal grew up in the Coachella Valley and graduated from La Quinta High School in 2019. He enlisted in the Marine Corps shortly thereafter to help his family and serve the country he loves. He faces many challenges in his recovery and will need the support of his family to be there for him.

Let's show our local hero and his family some love and bless them. It will be extremely important in Sal's recovery and help to relieve some of the stress on the family as they walk along side him during this difficult time.  I am running this fundraiser on behalf of and with the blessing of Sal, his mom Silvia, his dad Francisco and brothers Frankie, Alfredo and Emmanuel.  As a La Quinta native, I have watched this family grow as our sons played soccer together and I felt compelled to help. The money will be going directly to the Lule Family to help cover expenses related to Sal's recovery. Many expenses like travel back and forth, hotels, rental cars, missed wages are not covered as his family walks along side Sal.  We will be distributing funds to them on a regular basis as our goals are met. Their expenses will be many and ongoing. Thank you all for your help and prayers. The family truly appreciates it.
