Help Sam fly his drone again

Hey, it's Sam. If anyone's been wondering why I haven't posted drone photos recently it's because my drone broke and sadly I need help getting it fixed or just getting a new one.

The drone I acquired (OG DJI mini) from a friend who didn't use it anymore stopped working last month and is too old to get fixed through DJI's repair program. After contacting other drone repair businesses I learned that it's nearly as costly to get my drone fixed as it is to just buy a new one.

I'm still hoping someone can repair my drone at a reasonable price, but if not, I'm looking at the DJI AirS2 ($799).
