Help Sam Fund His Operation!

I’ve started a gofundme for Sam as it’s came to a point where we have no other options than to ask for help. Back in November last year sam got injured whilst playing against Charlton Athletic in the FA cup. At the time we weren’t sure to what extent the injury was but quite quickly we knew it was bad. 

After having numerous appointments with the NHS & private hospitals unfortunately the NHS wouldn’t even be able to see Sam until April 2022 & then looking to operate in September 2022 & this was well out of the time frame if Sam ever wanted to be able to play football again. We had no choice but to go privately to London. His operation took place last week & thankfully went well but unfortunately due to the extent of the injury once the surgeon had gone in he saw more work had to be done than originally thought which then meant another bill & this has came at a very huge cost. Unfortunately we just don’t have that type of money. We have been lucky & family have scraped together, Havant & Waterlooville football club have also contributed, Sams team mates have contributed & ex team mates have kindly given money & we are currently awaiting to see if we can get help from the PFA. Everyone who has been able to help has & we can’t thank them enough! But after such a shock injury just having a new born baby, bills to pay & a family to look after having a bill of £15,500 to pay is hard. Samuel has unfortunately fully ruptured his ACL, torn his posterior & lateral minuscus from the root, impact fracture of the lateral femoral condyle. This is a huge operation which means he will be out until at least October/November & he is bed bound for 3 months. Anything at this point would help, we would be highly appreciative & highly thankful! We hope you all have a wonderful start to the year & thank you for taking the time to read!
